H\u00e4r ser vi ett s\u00e5dant exempel d\u00e4r barn i f\u00f6rskolan \u00f6var taluppfattning genom att r\u00e4kna sn\u00e4ckor och kombinera antal med siffra.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Att arbeta med praktiskt material inom matematikundervisningen \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt att g\u00f6ra matematiken verklig. I Piag\u00e9ts begreppsv\u00e4rld omtalas detta som ett s\u00e4tt att ge barn &#8221;inre bilder&#8221; av matematiska begrepp (Malmer 2010). Detta gynnar alla barns taluppfattning och f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r \u00e4mnet och inte minst barn med inl\u00e4rningssv\u00e5righeter enligt Gudrun Malmer i\u00a0<em>Bra matematik f\u00f6r alla.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vad f\u00f6r material som kan anv\u00e4ndas f\u00f6r de praktiska laborationerna \u00e4r upp till dig att best\u00e4mma om du g\u00f6r ditt eget material. H\u00e4r finns det o\u00e4ndliga m\u00f6jligheter att botanisera i naturen men \u00e4ven i kulturen. P\u00e5 v\u00e5r skola har vi en Pippiv\u00e4ska full av gamla kastanjer som kan anv\u00e4ndas till m\u00e5nga olika r\u00e4kne\u00f6vningar och det \u00e4r tydligt att barnen uppskattar k\u00e4nslan av att h\u00e5lla i dem. Men vi har ocks\u00e5 material med guldstj\u00e4rnor, tygblommor, bilder p\u00e5 motorcyklar, sn\u00e4ckor osv.
