Det g\u00e4ller att inte ge upp och ibland f\u00e5r vi ha en r\u00e4v bakom \u00f6rat f\u00f6r att lyckas l\u00e4ra eleven n\u00e5got viktigt. \u00c4ven beteende kan l\u00e4ras ut  och eftersl\u00e4pande f\u00f6rm\u00e5gor kan utvecklas genom positiva erfarenheter (Greene 2013). Greene uppmanar oss att vara empatiska mot elever genom att samtala och g\u00f6ra \u00f6verenskommelser f\u00f6r att undvika explosivitet och trauman bland elever. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En del elever har sv\u00e5rt att bete sig som f\u00f6rv\u00e4ntat och fastnar l\u00e4tt i negativa samspel med oss om vi inte ser upp. Inte s\u00e4llan \u00e4r det barn med NPF som l\u00e4tt smittas av v\u00e5ra k\u00e4nslor om vi brusar upp eller bara s\u00e4ger nej. De kan ocks\u00e5 fastna i missmod om de \u00e4r hungriga eller l\u00e5sa sig i olika positioner. F\u00f6r att f\u00f6rm\u00e5 leda dem beh\u00f6ver vi hitta en v\u00e4g att avleda. Vi vill f\u00f6rs\u00f6ka locka deras uppm\u00e4rksamhet till n\u00e5got mer positivt &#8211; dra in dem p\u00e5 ett annat sp\u00e5r. Barn \u00e4r mottagliga f\u00f6r utmaningar eller lekar.  Fantasi kan vara en v\u00e4g  eller matematisk f\u00f6rm\u00e5ga en annan. N\u00e4r eleven inte ville g\u00e5 till matsalen sa hon: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Vet du, det \u00e4r en gubbe som \u00e4r ganska rolig d\u00e4r idag. Han brukar hoppa p\u00e5 ett ben. Kan du hoppa p\u00e5 ett ben? Just den h\u00e4r eleven vill inte missa n\u00e5got. Hen vill g\u00e4rna hoppa och nyfikenhet \u00e4r stor. Genom en vit l\u00f6gn s\u00e5 kommer de iv\u00e4g till matsalen. En annan g\u00e5ng d\u00e5 eleven fastnat p\u00e5 toaletten s\u00e4ger samma l\u00e4rare: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Jag ser rosa flodh\u00e4star som flyger utanf\u00f6r f\u00f6nstren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eleven \u00f6ppnar d\u00f6rren och tittar ut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Du skojar! s\u00e4ger eleven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Ja, det kanske jag g\u00f6r. Men vi g\u00e5r och kollar s\u00e4ger hon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4r elever med eftersl\u00e4pande f\u00f6rm\u00e5gor kan tillgodog\u00f6ra sig positiva erfarenheter s\u00e5 utvecklas de och \u00e4ven relationen till l\u00e4raren blir starkare. De f\u00e5r mat i sig och fastnar inte i l\u00e5sningar. Vi hj\u00e4lper dem att l\u00e5sa upp. Deras tillit \u00f6kar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En annan v\u00e4g till avledning kan vara att leka med hj\u00e4lp av kunskap. Idag gav jag eleverna en intr\u00e4desbiljett i matsalen &#8211; ett mattetal. D\u00e5 gl\u00f6mmer de att de st\u00e5r i k\u00f6 och vissa gl\u00f6mmer att de \u00e4r ot\u00e5liga. De lyssnar p\u00e5 talen och de blir lite pirriga av utmaningen. Viktigt \u00e4r att eleverna f\u00e5 lyckas.  Det \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 en f\u00f6ruts\u00e4ttning f\u00f6r lek. Eleven ska kunna: 1)beh\u00e5lla kontrollen och 2)s\u00e4tta verkligheten \u00e5t sidan (Levy 1972 i Lillemyr 2013). F\u00f6r att s\u00e4kert lyckas i matteleken  ger vi barnen i f\u00f6rskoleklass fingrar att r\u00e4kna som st\u00f6d &#8211; konkreta representationer. D\u00e5 lyckas de alla. Barn som upplever matsalsk\u00f6n som kr\u00e4vande, beteendekraven som klaustrofobiska eller v\u00e4ntandet som l\u00e5ngdraget kan komma p\u00e5 andra tankar en stund.
