Nu hade hon st\u00e4llt i ordning klassrummet f\u00f6r att eleverna skulle f\u00e5 handla av varandra i en minibutik p\u00e5 mattan. Hon hade tv\u00e5 sm\u00e5 butiker till en halvklass. Nu bad hon dem att best\u00e4mma vem som skulle b\u00f6rja vara kass\u00f6r. Barnen kom \u00f6verens om att spela Sten, sax, p\u00e5se. Att barnen f\u00e5r ansvar att organisera sig \u00e4r bra. Varje barn fick 3 tior och st\u00e4llde sig i k\u00f6 f\u00f6r att handla. De best\u00e4mde vad de ville ha och kass\u00f6ren r\u00e4knade samman p\u00e5 sin whiteboard. \u00c4ven kunden r\u00e4knade p\u00e5 sin. N\u00e4r summan var klar var det dags att betala. Strax var det ocks\u00e5 dags att byta kass\u00f6r s\u00e5 flera fick chansen. Butiken \u00e4r n\u00e5got som Gunilla g\u00f6r till och fr\u00e5n f\u00f6r att eleverna ska f\u00e5 m\u00f6jlighet att r\u00e4kna och v\u00e4xla med mynt. Det \u00e4r mycket bra tr\u00e4ning som utvecklar deras taluppfattning och automatisering. Att jobba med konkret material betonas av Malmer (1999) d\u00e5 de konkreta representationerna ger barnen inre bilder av tal (Piaget i Malmer 2000). Talen blir \u00e5sk\u00e5dliggjorda   enligt Kruse (1914). I v\u00e5r tid anv\u00e4nder vi ofta bankkort och risken finns att barn s\u00e4llan f\u00e5r r\u00e4kna pengar.
