Det \u00e4r som alltid roligt och sp\u00e4nnande med den ambiti\u00f6sa naturpedagogiken som vi m\u00f6ter d\u00e4r. F\u00f6r att inte tala om mys med brasa ute och att f\u00e5 klappa djuren. Att det var en f\u00e5gel hade de insett. N\u00e5gra visste nog att den var svart och kanske \u00e4ven vit. P\u00e5 naturskolan fick de ocks\u00e5 s\u00e4rskilt studera skatans vingar som skiftar i olika f\u00e4rger. Det finns fakta om skatan som barnen k\u00e4nner till. Nu signalerar ordet en m\u00e4ngd detaljer i form och f\u00e4rg s\u00e5v\u00e4l som beteendem\u00e4ssiga k\u00e4nnetecken som att skatan kan stj\u00e4la andra f\u00e5glars \u00e4gg. Enlig Piag\u00e9t kan kunskap utvecklas i samband med erfarenhet, genom att individens syn p\u00e5 sig sj\u00e4lv f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras eller att bilden av milj\u00f6n f\u00f6r\u00e4ndras (Kullberg 2004:b:127). \u00a0I det h\u00e4r fallet kan skatan ses som en del av milj\u00f6n vilken har f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrats.<\/p>\n<p>Vygotskji talar \u00e5 sin sida om hur abstrakta begrepp l\u00e4nkas samman med konkreta erfarenheter och p\u00e5 s\u00e5 vis ges mening. Hans betoning av spr\u00e5ket som ett redskap s\u00e4tter fokus p\u00e5 hur vi bem\u00e4strar spr\u00e5ket och hur spr\u00e5k och begrepp p\u00e5verkar och f\u00f6r\u00e4ndrar oss och v\u00e5rt medvetande (Vygotskji, 1939: 167 ff). H\u00e4r kan begreppet skata s\u00e4gas ha f\u00e5tt en mer realistisk form \u00a0i barnets medvetande.<\/p>\n<p>Jag \u00e4r ganska s\u00e4ker p\u00e5 att barnen l\u00e4rt sig ett och annat om skatan s\u00e5 h\u00e4r l\u00e5ngt. De vet mer om dem d\u00e5 de flaxar \u00f6ver g\u00e5rden. Och begreppet skata ger inte utrymme f\u00f6r oh\u00e4mmade fantasier om f\u00e5glar. Det kanske f\u00e5r dem att t\u00e4nka p\u00e5 \u00e4ggtjuvar\u00a0eller p\u00e5 svarta fj\u00e4drar som gl\u00e4nser i gr\u00f6nt och bl\u00e5tt. Hur l\u00e4nge de kommer ih\u00e5g det \u00e4r en annan femma. Men det finns gott om skator p\u00e5 skolg\u00e5rden som tur \u00e4r.
