Jag fr\u00e5gade barnen vad de tyckte vi skulle ha f\u00f6r n\u00e5gon \u00f6vning d\u00e5 vi gick in i klassrummet. De \u00f6nskade att f\u00e5 anv\u00e4nda v\u00e5ra kort och fr\u00e5ga varandra n\u00e5got igen. Sagt och gjort. Jag h\u00e4mtade korten och fick hj\u00e4lp att s\u00e4tta upp dem p\u00e5 tavlan. Sedan skulle de fr\u00e5ga kompisen bakom i ledet hur gammal den \u00e4r och leta upp kamratens namn bland korten f\u00f6r att s\u00e4tta det i r\u00e4tt stapel. Jag fick rita ut en x- och en y-axel p\u00e5 diagrammet. Under y-axeln skrev jag siffran 5 och 6.<\/p>\n<p>Som brukligt d\u00e5 vi g\u00f6r den h\u00e4r \u00f6vningen tycker barnen att det \u00e4r sp\u00e4nnande. De koncentrerar sig p\u00e5 vad som h\u00e4nder framme vid tavlan. De l\u00e4r k\u00e4nna varandra genom fr\u00e5gorna och \u00f6var p\u00e5 att l\u00e4sa namnen p\u00e5 korten. D\u00e5 vi var klara pratade vi om diagrammet, r\u00e4knade staplarna h\u00f6gt, diskuterade hur m\u00e5nga barn som saknades, hur m\u00e5nga vi var i halvklass osv. Genom att korten \u00e4r konkreta somboler f\u00f6r varje barn blir det enkelt att prata matematiska begrepp i anslutning till laborerandet. H\u00e4r f\u00e5r man l\u00e4tt ideer till nya \u00e4mnen. Att anv\u00e4nda matematiska begrepp kopplat till praktiska \u00f6vningar betonas av Gudrun Malmer i Bra matematik f\u00f6r alla (Studentlitteratur 2010) s\u00e5v\u00e4l som av Margaretha Forsb\u00e4ck och Ingrid Olsson i Utematte f\u00f6r meningsfullt l\u00e4rande (Mattemediamix, 2006).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Idag hade vi bara en kort stund att samlas i skolan innan vi skulle iv&auml;g till simhallen.
