Ist\u00e4llet har hon tillverkat ett antal nya material f\u00f6r att l\u00e4ra matte och svenska. Idag fick eleverna prova och det \u00e4r tydligt hur variation gynnar barnens engagemang och intresse.<\/p>\n<p>Ett h\u00e4rligt &#8221;h\u00f6stmaterial&#8221; har hon gjort av pressade och plastade l\u00f6nnl\u00f6v med olika antal svarta prickar p\u00e5 (l\u00f6nntj\u00e4rfl\u00e4cksvamp, en vanlig svampsjuka p\u00e5 l\u00f6nn men ofarlig). H\u00e4r ska man r\u00e4kna och koppla ihop antal med siffra och \u00e4ven talen skrivna p\u00e5 svenska. Mycket uppskattat och bra f\u00f6r att tr\u00e4na taluppfattning och l\u00e4sning.<\/p>\n<p>Att p\u00e5 det h\u00e4r s\u00e4ttet arbeta med praktiskt material inom matematikundervisningen \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt att g\u00f6ra matematiken verklig. I Piag\u00e9ts begreppsv\u00e4rld omtalas detta som ett s\u00e4tt att ge barn \u201dinre bilder\u201d av matematiska begrepp (Malmer 2010).
