Idag \u00f6vade vi mer p\u00e5 dubbelt och h\u00e4lften. Barnen jobbade i grupp och fick i varje grupp en siffra och en duk. P\u00e5 duken fick de l\u00e4gga lika m\u00e5nga kottar som siffran visade och dubbelt s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga pinnar. Sedan gick vi runt och tittade och pratade om dubbelt och h\u00e4lften med alla grupper. Det tog en bra stund men sedan var det dags f\u00f6r lek.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Men vi vill forts\u00e4tta med matte. Kan vi f\u00e5 l\u00e5na dina kort? Undrade Elvira och Nike. Det gick bra och s\u00e5 hittade vi p\u00e5 tv\u00e5 nya lekar. I den f\u00f6rsta leken fick de dra varsitt kort ur leken. Sedan skulle de l\u00e4gga lika m\u00e5nga pinnar eller kottar som kortet visade. D\u00e4refter var det dags att r\u00e4kna samman. Denna konkreta form av addition gjorde de n\u00e5gra g\u00e5nger. Sedan kom de p\u00e5 en ny lek sj\u00e4lva. Nu blandade de korten och la ut dem upp och ned. D\u00e4refter turades de om att v\u00e4nda upp korten. Slutligen var det dags att l\u00e4gga dem i ordning. Tr\u00e4na talraden allts\u00e5, j\u00e4ttebra!<\/p>\n<p>Att arbeta med praktiskt materia, \u00a0som kottar och pinnar, inom matematikundervisningen \u00e4r ett s\u00e4tt att g\u00f6ra matematiken verklig. I Piag\u00e9ts begreppsv\u00e4rld omtalas detta som ett s\u00e4tt att ge barn \u201dinre bilder\u201d av matematiska begrepp (Malmer 1999\/2010). Detta gynnar alla barns taluppfattning och f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r \u00e4mnet. Men vi ska heller inte underskatta vad leken betyder f\u00f6r att barnen ska k\u00e4nna motivationen att arbeta p\u00e5 det h\u00e4r viset. Att visa respekt f\u00f6r barns lek \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 ett \u00e4mne som betonas i boken <i>Lek p\u00e5 allvar <\/i>av Ole Fredrik Lillemyr (Liber 2013).
