Klassen skulle spela Plump med alla fyra r\u00e4knes\u00e4tt och de var taggade till tusen. Gunilla hade ritat den stora spelplanen p\u00e5 tavlan och klassen var uppdelad i grupper om 3-4 personer. De erh\u00e5llna siffrorna skrevs upp p\u00e5 tavlan till h\u00f6ger om spelplanen. Sedan g\u00e4llde det att anv\u00e4nda talen p\u00e5 ett kreativt s\u00e4tt f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 s\u00e5 m\u00e5nga po\u00e4ng som m\u00f6jligt. I denna omg\u00e5ng var alla 4 r\u00e4knes\u00e4tt till\u00e5tna vilket \u00f6ppnar f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga kluriga l\u00f6sningar. D\u00e5 ett av lagen f\u00e5r sl\u00e5 \u00e5t g\u00e5ngen \u00e4r alla med och klurar och det blir sp\u00e4nnande vill jag lova. M\u00e5let med spelet \u00e4r att pricka in en l\u00f6sning som ger maximalt antal po\u00e4ng genom att det angr\u00e4nsar till maximalt antal tidigare l\u00f6sningar. Det g\u00e4ller allts\u00e5 att pricka in ett svar som ligger n\u00e4ra m\u00e5nga tidigare svar och samtidigt inte \u00e4r \u201dupptaget\u201d. Kan man inte finna n\u00e5gon l\u00f6sning s\u00e5 m\u00e5ste man s\u00e4tta en plump. De f\u00e5r nu tillf\u00e4lle att samarbeta och l\u00e4ra av varandra och ett moment av t\u00e4vling skapar en viss sk\u00e4rpa. Eleverna kan ocks\u00e5 f\u00e5 motivation att l\u00e4ra sig exempelvis multiplikation. H\u00e4r \u00e4r det n\u00e4mligen tydligt att f\u00f6rm\u00e5gan att automatisera r\u00e4kning ger f\u00f6rdelar d\u00e5 vi vill laborera kluriga l\u00f6sningar och prova olika alternativ f\u00f6r att v\u00e4lja det f\u00f6rdelaktigaste f\u00f6r laget. P\u00e5 den h\u00e4r spelplanen hade ingen \u00e4nnu hunnit f\u00e5 en plump d\u00e5 klockan ringde ut f\u00f6r dagen. Det kluriga spelet f\u00e5r d\u00e4rmed v\u00e4nta tills imorgon f\u00f6r att f\u00e5 sin uppl\u00f6sning. En mattelektion att l\u00e4ngta efter.
