Inom ett spr\u00e5kutvecklande arbetss\u00e4tt och svenska k\u00e4nns det naturligt (Gibbons 2006). Men i bild\u00e4mnet och f\u00f6r den ovane kan det k\u00e4nnas som lite &#8221;fusk&#8221; och man kan vara r\u00e4dd att alla barn ska l\u00f6sa uppgiften p\u00e5 samma s\u00e4tt. Men s\u00e5 beh\u00f6ver det inte bli om vi ger flera exempel p\u00e5 hur olika delar kan variera.<\/p>\n<p>Idag f\u00f6rberedde vi f\u00f6r ett bes\u00f6k p\u00e5 Naturskolan d\u00e5 vi kommer att studera skatan. Vi l\u00e4t barnen rita hur de f\u00f6rest\u00e4ller sig en skata. D\u00e5 jag sedan tidigare vet att detta kan vara mycket sv\u00e5rt f\u00f6r m\u00e5nga av barnen f\u00f6revisade jag hur man kan rita en f\u00e5gel, samtidigt som jag gick igenom centrala begrepp som n\u00e4bb, klo, br\u00f6st, vinge och stj\u00e4rt. Och det var ingen sj\u00e4lvklarhet f\u00f6r barnen som kan tro att br\u00f6stet heter mage och stj\u00e4rten \u00e4r en svans..<\/p>\n<p>Men jag visade ocks\u00e5 att n\u00e4bbar kan se ut p\u00e5 olika s\u00e4tt och att ben kan vara olika l\u00e5nga. Sedan bytte jag fr\u00e5n kort till en l\u00e5ng n\u00e4bb och fr\u00e5n korta till l\u00e5nga ben p\u00e5 min ritade f\u00e5gel och satte p\u00e5 en tofs p\u00e5 huvudet. Detta f\u00f6rvandlingsnummer var mycket uppskattat d\u00e5 f\u00e5geln ju helt bytte karakt\u00e4r. Den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen talade vi inte om varf\u00f6r n\u00e4bbar, klor och ben kan se olika ut. Jag t\u00e4nker att det kan vi ta lite senare. Att uppm\u00e4rksamma dem p\u00e5 att f\u00e5glar kan skilja sig i olika detaljer f\u00e5r vara bra f\u00f6r den h\u00e4r g\u00e5ngen. Det blir lite som en &#8221;plantering&#8221;\/ett fr\u00f6. N\u00e4r vi vattnar det fr\u00f6et n\u00e4sta g\u00e5ng kan vi bygga p\u00e5 med kunskaper och kanske j\u00e4mf\u00f6ra olika n\u00e4bbar och klor f\u00f6r att hitta likheter och skillnader. Det \u00e4r ju grunden f\u00f6r att analysera och kategorisera arter inom biologi.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e4r barnen nu ritade sina f\u00e5glar var det p\u00e5tagligt att de trivdes med aktiviteten. De var glada och ritade stort \u00f6ver hela papperet vilket tyder p\u00e5 att de k\u00e4nner sig trygga med att de \u00e4r p\u00e5 r\u00e4tt v\u00e4g.
